FDW BayBay & Rich Homie Quan – In My Bag
Growing up, FDW BayBay would live between Cincinnati, Ohio and Hickory, North Carolina with both cities becoming an anchor for him starting his rap career. Like most artists, his songs would focus on the struggles he faced while coming up in the streets, but the rapper never let his circumstances get the best of him. Instead, he’s forged his own lane in the industry while working alongside some heavy hitters such as Gunna, Moneybag Yo, Blac Youngsta, NoCap and Rich Homie Quan to name a few.
FDW BayBay, whose birth name is Adonis Miguel Rutherford, has been rapping for roughly twelve years but began to take the craft more seriously in the past six years. In that time, he’s built a discography of music that combines the melodic, trap-infused records his fans have grown to love with up-tempo cuts like that of “No Cappin” featuring Gunna. It’s the stories of his fast lifestyle that has his audience intrigued, allowing the young rapper to boast millions of listens across all streaming platforms.
Following his single “Reversible” with NoCap, FDW BayBay is keeping his fans laced with his latest release “In My Bag” with Rich Homie Quan which released December 3rd produced by Al Geno. When asked about the collaboration, FDW BayBay states, “The song is more about being in my bag like I was slacking but I had to get back to myself now I’m up we winning and everybody saying we acting different, but we’re not acting different, we’re just moving different, you can’t move the same when you’re up we don’t have the same mindset and little money we once had, we’re on a bigger scale. And I decided to run with Quan because he’s a legend in the game always wanted to link with him. Also, me or Quan haven’t dropped in a while so why not come out together with a banger I met him and it was perfect timing”
The official music video for “In My Bag” was filmed by GT Films in Atlanta, GA.
